New Delhi, Nov 5: Rohit Sharma continues to hold his position as the number one ranked batter in men’s ODIs, while New Zealand’s Daryl Mitchell reached a career-high third place after a stellar series against England.
Mitchell’s unbeaten 56 in the second ODI at Hamilton and 44 in the final match in Wellington helped him accumulate 178 runs in the series, earning him the Player of the Series award and propelling him two spots up the rankings.
Another Kiwi, left-hander Rachin Ravindra, matched a career-best by reaching 14th position after scoring 44 and 56 in the last two ODIs, climbing four spots.

South Africa’s Quinton de Kock returned to 19th place following his 63 in the first ODI against Pakistan in Faisalabad. Pakistan’s Fakhar Zaman moved up one position to 26th, while Salman Agha soared nine places to a career-high 30th after his Player of the Match innings of 62 off 71 balls.
England’s Jofra Archer earned a career-best joint third spot in the ODI bowling rankings after taking three wickets in Hamilton. Pakistan’s Naseem Shah jumped 10 places to 33rd, New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy rose 25 spots to 39th, and USA pacer Saurabh Netravalkar climbed three positions to 17th.
T20I Rankings:
In T20Is, West Indies’ Shai Hope achieved his highest-ever ranking at 12th among batters following scores of 46* and 55 against Bangladesh. Afghanistan’s Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran also made gains, rising to 15th (+3) and 20th (+6), respectively, after strong performances in Zimbabwe. Pakistan’s Babar Azam and Saim Ayub each moved up 10 places to 35th and 39th.
On the bowling front, Pakistan’s Shaheen Shah Afridi advanced to 13th, Afghanistan’s Mujeeb Ur Rahman climbed 13 spots to 14th, West Indies’ Jason Holder rose nine places to 23rd, and Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza made a massive jump of 32 positions to 33rd. Pakistan’s left-arm pacer Salman Mirza made the biggest leap, soaring 98 places to 45th after a three-wicket haul in the second T20I against South Africa in Lahore.
