Paris, Nov 12: Car and cinema enthusiasts are in for a treat as Bonhams prepares to host an online auction featuring 50 original movie vehicles along with 19 pieces of film memorabilia. The collection, sourced from the Movie Cars Central Museum near Paris operated by Franck Galiegue, spans decades and includes cars from legendary film franchises.

Highlights from the auction include several vehicles from the Fast & Furious series, such as the 2001 Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VII driven by Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor in 2 Fast 2 Furious, the 1970 Dodge Charger “Off-Road” from Fast & Furious 7, and the 1967 Camaro Off-Road from the same film.

Car aficionados will also find the 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 from John Wick, one of the five cars built for the movie and famously driven by Keanu Reeves’ character, and the 1968 Dodge Charger “General Lee” from The Dukes of Hazzard. Other standout vehicles include the Gene Winfield Police Cruiser from Back to the Future II, a Cagiva 600 Canyon motorcycle from Jurassic Park: The Lost World, and the 1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria from Men in Black.

The collection also boasts recreations of iconic cars, including James Bond’s BMW Z3 and 750i, the A-Team’s GMC Vandura, and the beloved Volkswagen Beetle “Herbie”. Representing French cinema is a 1999 Peugeot 406 V6 from Taxi 2, alongside a Batmobile styled after Tim Burton’s Batman.

Bonhams specialists say the auction caters to collectors and pop culture enthusiasts worldwide, offering a rare opportunity to own a piece of cinematic history.
