Dubai, Nov 17: Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth met UAE Minister of State for Defence Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei on the sidelines of the Dubai Air Show 2025, with both sides reaffirming plans to deepen defence cooperation through stronger institutional engagement, joint training, and increased participation in defence exhibitions. Seth also encouraged exploring joint research, co-development, and co-production to further expand bilateral defence ties, the Defence Ministry said in a post on X.
Seth inaugurated the BRAHMOS stall at the event, where he interacted with 15 iDEX innovators showcasing advanced aerospace and defence technologies in the Vista Startup Zone. The Indian Consulate General in Dubai highlighted BRAHMOS as a major attraction, noting its versatility across ships, submarines, mobile platforms and aircraft, and its capability to strike both land and sea targets.

Earlier, Seth also opened the India Pavilion, featuring indigenous fighter technologies, next-generation defence startups, and cutting-edge aerospace innovations that reflect India’s focus on self-reliance.
He is leading a high-level delegation comprising senior officials from the Defence Ministry, Defence Production, the MEA, and the Armed Forces. The Dubai Air Show, a major global aviation and defence event, hosts over 1,500 exhibitors and 148,000 industry professionals from 150 countries, including major global aerospace companies.
