Mumbai, Feb 18: It is indeed double victory for Karan Johar. Johar had enough reasons to rejoice with the huge hit of ‘Agneepath’ at the boz office. Following that was his next release, Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu starring actors Imran Khan and Kareena Kapoor.  The romantic comedy for the first time brought together the two actors opposite each other to spark off such a chemistry, immediately liked by all.
 
Ek Main Aur Ekk Tu is based on the Hollywood romantic comedy flick ‘What Happens in Vegas’. The movie was released on Valentine’s day and has so far  grossed nearly Rs 20.95 crore at the box office in its first weekend. After which, the movie amassed an amount of nearly Rs 33 crore in its first week’s box office collection.
Ek Main Aur Ek Tu, was initially made on a budget of Rs 35 crore. The movie’s satellite rights were sold out for Rs 10 crore, while its music rights are reportedly said to be sold for Rs 5-6 crore.

As per sources, KJo had pooled in approximately Rs 20-22 crore in the movie, and has already grossed a profit of Rs 2 crore, so far.
