Puttur: Bike rider dies after bus collision in Kokkada

Puttur, Nov 30: A bike rider died after a bus and motorcycle collided at Kokkada on Sunday, November 30.

The deceased has been identified as Deepak G, 24, a resident of Mulbagilu in Kolar district.

 

The accident occurred near the Parpikal bridge curve at Nidlle when a bike heading from Dharmasthala towards Bengaluru collided with a KSRTC bus coming from Subrahmanya towards Dharmasthala.

The impact left the biker critically injured.

It is learnt that the accident took place while the biker was overtaking a car. Though he was rushed to Nelyady Hospital immediately, he could not be saved.

    This thinking of human sacrifice must be stopped immediately. The person causing the accident... feels take this life as my offering. Being classified as an accident legally the perpetrator goes free. Something to ponder about.

    O my God,young boy heavy vehicle,ad overtaking at curve?Why one dont understand to have some patience till road clear is?Very sad for the parents and family.Full life was before him.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to family.
