Bellevision Bahrain holds grand 15th Annual Day celebration

Bahrain, Dec 1: What a wonderful event was witnessed by members, well-wishers and all gathered at Bellevision Bahrain’s 15th Annual Day celebration, held at Olive Banquet Hall Juffair on the evening of November 27. Since the inception in year 2010 under the leadership of Joel D’Sa and following years under the headship of vibrant presidents and their executive committee members, Bellevision Bahrain successfully accomplished 15 glorious years and looks forward to complete many more fruitful years.

Under the current leadership of Arun Castelino and his team, the annual day was celebrated with great joy and fervor creating another milestone.

Stage programme: The programme began well on time with a wonderful shayeri/poetry by the ever energetic and dynamic MC Adline D’Silva followed by prayer song by Rony, Joyce, Riva and Preetham. The Excom of 2025 was welcomed to the dais. To celebrate the joyous occasion Excom cut the cake and shared the happiness. Guests were served with homemade delicious cake baked by Naveen Mendonca. President Arun Castelino addressed the gathering with his sweet words, thanking everyone for collaborative efforts in strengthening the association. The annual report of the year was presented by secretary Ivan D’Souza highlighting the programmes conducted throughout the year. The well-wishers have been its strong support since the inception of Bellevision Bahrain and continue to be the backbone of the association. As a mark of gratitude they were presented with memento.

The Excom along with all the past presidents honored and felicitated Ronald and Nirmala Fernandes for their continuous support and service to the association.

Membership coordinator Judith Mendonca thanked each and every one who had supported and played a vital role in organizing the event.

Cultural event: Singers Preetham, Rony and Riva rendered beautiful Konkani waltz numbers for couples novelty dance. Members' children Warren, Ronnel, Ivanka, Angela, Evanka, Farrell and Eliana performed graciously a fusion dance with vitality which was choreographed by Eunice D’Souza.

Raffle draws and membership draws were conducted at intervals where amazing 15 raffle gifts were given out to lucky winners. A vibrant fusion dance was performed by youngsters – Valentino, Wilroy, Joyce, Nikitha, Ashish, Preetham and Arun Fernandes that was choreographed by Joyce D’Souza. The nostalgic fusion dance by senior members – Arun & Alfreeda, Vinod & Nezline added a special attraction to the show. All performers were presented with token of appreciation that were sponsored by Edward D’Sa. Few games were conducted for children and the best part was the competitive group game for all. MC Adline ensured that the gathering was on full spirit throughout the night.

The event concluded with non-stop session of baila dance and appetizing food that was served by the hotel. DJ Alwyn rendered his best collection, while moments were captured by Mario and Ronald Fernandes. Collection of past 15 years’ photos were presented on the projector which brought back memories down the lane. Bellevision Bahrain is not just an association but a family that brings all Belleians united under one umbrella.
