Mangaluru, Dec 4: Cadet Sonal Jessica Crasta has successfully completed the prestigious and highly challenging para basic course held at the Airborne Training School, Agra. She was selected to represent the Karnataka–Goa directorate and completed the course with exemplary discipline and dedication.

The special training programme, conducted from November 3 to 25, included intensive modules such as para jump practice, airborne technology, physical and mental endurance tests, warrior fitness, and military drills. Sonal displayed outstanding skill and determination in clearing every stage of the rigorous course. Competing among NCC cadets from across the country, she proved her capabilities and earned appreciation from the course instructors.

Sonal Jessica Crasta is the second of three daughters of Wilfred Crasta and Lidwin Crasta of Vamanjoor. Raised with values of discipline, hard work, and service, she has always received strong support and encouragement from her family, which continues to motivate her towards excellence.

Completing the para basic course marks a significant milestone in any NCC cadet’s journey, and Sonal’s accomplishment serves as an inspiration to the younger generation. Her dedication, courage, and commitment are expected to pave the way for further achievements in national and defence training in the years ahead.
