Dubai, Dec 5: Nine-year-old Delisha D’souza, a bright Grade 4 student from GEMS Our Own Indian School, Dubai, has garnered major attention and accolades at the prestigious Model Service Society (MSS) Youth Festival 2025, winning the coveted Best Performer award of the entire cultural fest. Competing in the junior’s category (grades 2, 3 & 4), Delisha impressed the judges with her confidence, clarity, and exceptional talent, securing top positions across multiple events.

Stellar achievements in the junior category

• 1st place – Public Speaking (English)

• 2nd place – UAE National Anthem (Singing)

• 2nd place – Storytelling (English)

Honored as Best Performer 2025

Her consistent excellence, expressive delivery, and passion across all rounds earned her the Best Performer 2025 title recognizing her as the top individual talent among hundreds of young participants at the fest.

Delisha is the daughter of Maurice D’Souza and Deena D’Souza, and younger sister to Marisha D’Souza. Her family and school community are immensely proud of her outstanding achievements and dedication.

This year’s MSS Youth Festival, held at New Dawn Private School, Muhaisnah 4, Dubai, witnessed participation from 65+ schools, 200+ volunteers, 1,500+ participants, and an audience of over 3,000, making Delisha’s triumph a remarkable accomplishment on a highly competitive stage.
