Bengaluru, Dec 6: The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) on Saturday, December 6, released the revised provisional results of the third round of UG medical and dental seat allotment, in compliance with the High Court’s directions. KEA has also scheduled document verification for KSET candidates from December 10 to 12.

In a statement, KEA executive director H Prasanna said the provisional allotment list published on October 24 had been cancelled as directed by the High Court. “Candidates who have objections to the revised provisional results may e-mail them to keauthority-ka@nic.in by 3 pm on December 7,” he said.

The final allotment results will be announced after 11 am on December 8. Allotted candidates must pay the prescribed fee by December 10 (with earlier payments adjusted), download the seat allotment order, and report to their respective colleges by December 11, he clarified.

Prasanna noted that allotment has been carried out based on the preferences already entered by candidates, and those allotted seats in this round must compulsorily report to their colleges.

For the third round, 443 seats newly added from nine colleges were considered for allotment. Among the candidates allotted these seats, 301 had already secured MBBS seats in the earlier rounds; the 301 vacated seats will also be offered to eligible candidates.

He added that seats available at the start of the third round, seats cancelled for various reasons until December 5, and seats left over after movement to higher preferences will all be included in the allotment process in accordance with the rules.

Meanwhile, KEA has also announced document verification for candidates who qualified in the KSET examinations of 2023, 2024 and 2025 but have not yet attended verification. Prasanna said eligible candidates must appear in person with original documents, and certificates will be issued on the spot if all records are in order.

Verification for 2023 candidates will be held on December 10 (forenoon), followed by 2024 candidates in the afternoon session. Verification for 2025 candidates will take place on December 11 and 12.

Candidates have been advised to check the KEA website for further details.
