Mangaluru: Spandana Trust celebrates Annual Day, Christmas with grandeur at Jeppu

Mangaluru, Dec 12: The Annual Day and Christmas celebration of the Spandana Trust were held with great grandeur on December 10 at Spandana Trust Social Welfare Unit, Infant Mary’s Convent, Jeppu.

The programme was presided over by M P Noronha, with Jane Maria Nalini Saldanha as the chief guest. Sr Evangeline Menezes and Sr Helen Fernandes were honorary guests, Victor Vas, and Lidwin were guests on the stage.

Sr Florine Pais, adminstrator Spandana Trust welcomed all the distinguished guests and attendees present. The president of the event, M P Noronha, provided some information on human rights. The chief guest, Jane Maria Nalini Saldanha, shared some words of encouragement on how women can progress in all fields. Approximately 850 women from self-help groups participated in the event.

Various competitions were organized for women, and prizes were awarded to the winners. Dion Mural Pais, Jessica Shaina D’Souza, and the women of the organization performed the cultural programme.

Celine D’Souza and Reshma Wilma D’Souza were the hosts of the programme.

At the end, the arrival of Santa Claus captivated everyone's hearts.
