Mangaluru, Dec 15: Vertex Managed Workspace successfully hosted the Vertex Box Cricket League – Season 3 and the Women’s Badminton Tournament 2025 on December 13 and 14 at Prakrida Sports Academy, Bejai–Kapikad. The two-day sporting extravaganza brought together professionals from across Vertex’s client ecosystem to celebrate teamwork, fitness, and the true spirit of sportsmanship.

The event was inaugurated and graced by Kiran Shetty, founder- Shree Nidhi Infrastructures, corporator Kiran Kumar Kodikal, and Mahesh Shetty, managing partner, Vertex Workspace, whose presence added significance and encouragement to the participants. Their support underscored the importance of employee engagement and well-being through sports.

Teams representing Relintex LLP, Pace Wisdom, Exito, Scarlett Wireless, Vertex Workspace, Klonec, Kambala Solutions, IGT Everi, Xtransmatrix, Updapt, Webtree, Lcode Technologies, Bose Professional, Omnenest Technologies, Cartronics, and Document Desk actively participated, making the tournament a vibrant inter-organisational celebration.

The Box Cricket League witnessed intense competition, nail-biting finishes, and high-energy performances throughout. Team Vertex Immortals, led by Prashanth Bangera from Vertex Workspace, emerged as the champions, while Team Scarlett Strikers, led by Siddharth Ballaya from Scarlett Wireless, secured the runner-up position. The Man of the Series title was won by Siddharth Ballaya from Scarlett Wireless for his consistent and impactful performance. Best Batsman was awarded to Sathim Hegde & Best Bowler was awarded to Steevan Clarence Noronha.

The Women’s Badminton Tournament delivered equally thrilling moments. In the Singles category, Vedashree (IGT Everi) clinched the winner’s title after an exciting contest against Nagma (Relintex), who finished as runner-up. The Doubles category saw Yashmitha and Veeksha (Omnenest Technologies) take top honours, while Krithika and Sushmitha (Relintex) finished as runners-up.

The awards for the Box Cricket League winners were presented by Mohan Raj of Bright HR Solutions and Santhosh Shetty from Acebond, who congratulated the teams for their outstanding performance and sportsmanlike spirit.
