Gaza, Dec 16: The United Arab Emirates on Monday inaugurated the Emirates Medical Centre in Khan Younis, Gaza Strip, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to provide urgent medical treatment and comprehensive healthcare services to conflict affected residents.

The new facility aims to address critical gaps in healthcare access amid ongoing instability and shortages, offering emergency care, essential treatments and support to those in immediate need.

UAE officials said the centre will play a key role in strengthening medical capacity and assisting wounded civilians, including women and children, in the region.

This initiative reflects continued international focus on humanitarian assistance for Gaza’s beleaguered population, as global agencies coordinate health and relief efforts amid challenging conditions on the ground.
