Bold criminals strike across Goa, MLA Lobo demands enhanced police patrols

Panaji, Jan 13: Raising alarm over the surge in thefts and robberies across Goa, MLA Michael Lobo on Tuesday urged the State government to strengthen police patrolling, saying criminals have grown “so bold that they commit thefts at multiple places in a single night.”

During the Zero Hour in the Goa Legislative Assembly, Lobo highlighted that even temples and churches have not been spared, questioning the efficiency of current police patrolling.

He demanded immediate measures, including the provision of two-wheelers to police personnel, to enable faster response times and more effective night patrols across the State.

Lobo’s intervention underscores growing public concern over safety and the need for enhanced vigilance to curb criminal activities in Goa.
