KCF Mahabba Family Fest to unite families in Sharjah on Jan 25

Media Release

Sharjah, Jan 22: The Karnataka Cultural Foundation (KCF) UAE will host the Mahabba Family Fest on Sunday, January 25, at Al Batayeh Garden, Sharjah, from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Addressing the media at a press meet, KCF UAE president Kedumbady Ibrahim Saqafi stated that the festival aims to unite Kannadiga families from across the UAE, providing a joyful platform to reconnect, celebrate togetherness, and strengthen community bonds. The day-long event will feature a wide range of fun-filled games and entertainment, including kids’ singing performances, children’s games, ladies’ cookery competitions, and various activities across different age categories.

The organisers expect participation from over 500 families and more than 3,000 community members. Several community leaders and distinguished guests will grace the occasion.

Families from all Emirates are expected to travel to the venue, and bus arrangements have been organised through respective zonal teams. Adequate parking facilities are available near the park.

KCF UAE general secretary Ibrahim (Bright Marble) warmly invited all Karnataka families to attend the festival with enthusiasm, noting that the event holds special significance as the UAE celebrates 2026 as the “Year of the Family,” an initiative aimed at nurturing family closeness and growth.

The press briefing was attended by Mahabba Family Fest Reception Committee chairman Siddeek Panemanglore and convener Nawaz Haji Kotekar.
