Dubai, Jan 27: The United Arab Emirates has once again underscored its policy of neutrality amid rising regional tensions, firmly stating that its territory, airspace and territorial waters will not be used for any military operations directed at Iran.
In an official statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs made it clear that the UAE will neither permit hostile military activities from its land, sea or airspace nor provide logistical or operational support for such actions. The declaration reinforces the country’s determination to stay clear of regional conflicts and avoid being drawn into confrontational military dynamics.

The Ministry said the UAE’s position is rooted in its long-standing foreign policy approach, which places a strong emphasis on stability, restraint and diplomatic engagement, particularly during periods of heightened uncertainty in the region. Rather than escalation, the UAE continues to advocate dialogue and de-escalation as the most effective means of addressing disputes.
Highlighting the importance of international law, the statement stressed that respect for sovereignty and adherence to established global norms are essential for resolving conflicts and preventing further instability. These principles, the Ministry noted, guide the UAE’s interactions with both regional neighbours and the wider international community.
By reiterating this stance, the UAE signalled its commitment to peaceful solutions and constructive diplomacy, distancing itself from any actions that could fuel further tensions. The Ministry concluded that lasting security can only be achieved through communication, mutual respect and cooperation — not through the use of force.
