Mumbai: 42nd Branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank Opens in Kandivali (East)

Mumbai, Feb 28: The 42nd branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank (Mumbai) Limited was inaugurated at the ground floor of Sweetland Building, Thakur Complex, Kandivali (East), on Monday February 27.

All India Billava Federation president and Bank director Jaya C Suvarna inaugurated the new branch of Bharat Co-operative Bank at Kandivali (East) on Monday morning.

Bank chairman Vasudev R Kotian and Avenue Group of Hotels managing director Raghuram K Shetty Belgaum inaugurated the banking services and ATM kiosk.

Bank director Pushpalata N Salian inaugurated the safe locker facility on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Raghuram Shetty said that Bharat Bank has been a leading co-operative bank in the country and it has made rapid strides in the banking sphere and customer care under the leadership of Bank’s former chairman Jaya C Suvarna.

Jaya Suvarna said that the majority of the Bank’s customers range from the lower strata of society who are being helped by the Bank to realize their aspirations to start small businesses and the success of the bank lies in customer satisfaction.

Vasudev Kotian urged the customers to avail world class banking facilities from various branches of the Bank.

The Bank’s directors M B Kukyan, Jyoti K Suvarna, M B Sanil, Y Nagesh, Chandrashekar S Poojary, Shankar D Poojary, Jagannat V Kotian, N Nityanand, Bhaskar M Salian, Ratan U Sanil, Rahit M Suvarna, CEO Chandrashekar R Mulky and top officers were present on the occasion.

The Bank’s founder president Varad Ullal, entrepreneur Swaminat Iyer, Gangadhar Poojary, Anil Salian, Yogesh Hejmady, Dayanand Poojary Varanga, Shivaram G Poojary, and B N Shetty conveyed best wishes.

The Bank’s chief general manager Anil Kumar R Amin, general manager Professor Shekar Poojary, deputy general manager Vivek S Shanbagh, Shobha Dayanand, Nityanand D Kotian, assistant general managers Kishore D Kotian, Prabhakar G Suvarna, Jagdish Narayan, Mohandas Hejmady, Dinesh B Salian, and Navinchandra S Bangera were present.

Vidhwan K Sadashiv Shanti performed ‘Vastu puja’, ‘Satyanarayana puja’ and religious celebrations at the new branch.

Purushottam Suvarna and Mamata P Suvarna were present during the ‘puja’.

Kandivali (East) branch manager Harinakshi R Kotian welcomed the gathering.  Assistant manager Virendra Kundar proposed vote of thanks.
