Barcelona, Mar 1: Lamine Yamal is brimming with confidence ahead of Barcelona’s Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Atletico Madrid after netting his first hat-trick for FC Barcelona against Villarreal CF.
Despite Barcelona heading into the decisive clash at Camp Nou trailing 0-4 on aggregate, Yamal has refused to give up hope. Taking to social media after the game, the youngster posted: “1% chance, 99% faith.”

Speaking to the media, Yamal said the team had responded strongly. “It was time to react and push. We are doing it. Now let me tell our fans… come to the stadium against Atléti, the magic can happen,” he said.
Barcelona face a daunting task to overturn the deficit in midweek, but the forward’s belief has sparked optimism among supporters.
Defender Eric Garcia also threw his support behind the teenager, praising his recent form. “We are lucky that he plays for our team. Lamine’s performance has been incredible, he could even have saved one or two goals for Tuesday,” Garcia remarked.
With a place in the final at stake, Barcelona will be hoping Yamal has indeed reserved a few more goals as they attempt a dramatic comeback against Atletico Madrid.
