Bantwal, Mar 1: Catechism Day was celebrated at St Thomas Church Nirkan on Sunday, March 1. Fr Anil Roshan Lobo the parish priest officiated at the holy Eucharist. He called the faithful to be transformed by the presence of Jesus Christ. Catechism helps to transform our life unto Christ.

Thereafter students of each class performed the cultural programme based on the life of Jesus. The students who had attended the daily catechism and who secured Ist and 2nd place in the Catechism exam were honored with a gift by Fr Anil Roshan Lobo the parish priest.

Sr Severine Fernandes the coordinator of Catechism Commission presented the report of the year. Shanthi Lobo secretary of the Parish Parishad council, Stany Lobo coordinator of all the parish commissions were present on the dais.

Melina Crasta welcomed the gathering. Teena Pinto thanked and Nesline Priya compared the programme. It was concluded with light breakfast.
