London, Mar 6: Tottenham Hotspur continued their dismal run in the Premier League after suffering a humiliating 3-1 defeat against Crystal Palace at home on Thursday, leaving them just one point above the relegation zone.
The defeat has further intensified pressure on Spurs and head coach Igor Tudor, who has managed only three matches in charge amid growing uncertainty over his future.

Palace thought they had taken the lead around the half-hour mark when Ismaïla Sarr converted a low cross from Evan Guessand. However, following a lengthy VAR review, the goal was ruled out for offside by the narrowest of margins, offering Spurs a brief reprieve.
Moments later, the hosts capitalised on the escape. Archie Gray recovered a loose ball from a corner and cut it back for Dominic Solanke, who powered the ball home from close range to put Tottenham ahead.
The lead, however, lasted only briefly. Palace quickly struck back when Micky van de Ven pulled back Sarr inside the penalty area. The Dutch defender was shown a red card and Sarr calmly converted the resulting spot-kick to level the score.
Palace then seized control before the break. In stoppage time of the first half, Guessand intercepted a pass intended for Pape Matar Sarr, allowing Adam Wharton to set up Jørgen Strand Larsen, who finished past Guglielmo Vicario to give the visitors the lead.
Just minutes later, Wharton delivered another incisive through ball that split Tottenham’s fragile defence, enabling Sarr to sprint clear and slot home Palace’s third goal.
Crystal Palace eased off in the second half, although Solanke and Kevin Danso tested goalkeeper Dean Henderson with efforts. However, Tottenham lacked the urgency to mount a comeback.
With the loss, Tottenham remain winless in the league since their victory over Palace on December 28 at Selhurst Park, raising serious concerns about their fight to avoid relegation.
