Mumbai, Mar 5: Konkani Welfare Association Sion in collaboration with Catholic Sabha Sion Parish unit organised a blood camp recently at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church Campus, Sion, here. The staff of J J hospital co-operated to organise the camp.
700 were preople were present for the camp and 100 bottles of blood was collected.
Chairman of the association John Rebello and Karnataka Sangha office members Uday Poojari, Ashith Shetty, Krishna Shetty and Ashok Shetty were present as guests for the programme.
The programme started with a prayer by Fr Leslie D'Cunha. President Dulince Furtado gave a welcome address. Secretary Denis D'Souza gave the vote of thanks. Founder Harry Sequeira compered the programme.
