Trump warns Iran of strikes if Hormuz not reopened in 48 hours

Daijiworld Media Network - Washington

Washington, Mar 22: Former US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening military strikes if the Strait of Hormuz is not reopened within 48 hours.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump said, “If Iran doesn’t FULLY OPEN, WITHOUT THREAT, the Strait of Hormuz, within 48 HOURS from this exact point in time, the United States of America will hit and obliterate their various POWER PLANTS, STARTING WITH THE BIGGEST ONE FIRST!”

The warning comes amid heightened tensions in West Asia, with concerns growing over disruptions to key global energy shipping routes, particularly the Strait of Hormuz, a vital corridor for oil and gas supplies.

Trump’s statement signals a sharp escalation in rhetoric, as global powers closely monitor the situation for its potential impact on regional stability and energy markets.
