Daijiworld Media Network – Lucknow

Lucknow, Mar 24: Aman Tiwari, a BTech graduate in electrical engineering from IIT Delhi (2021), has secured an impressive All India Rank 74 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination 2024 in his very first attempt. His achievement stands as a testament to focused preparation and disciplined execution, especially for aspirants transitioning from the corporate sector.

Hailing from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, Aman completed his education and began his professional career at Samsung in South Korea, where he worked for two years. However, driven by his aspiration to enter public service, he resigned from his job in June 2023 to fully dedicate himself to UPSC preparation.

He began his full-time preparation in June 2023 and, despite the intense pressure associated with the examination, maintained a consistent daily routine along with a calm and composed mindset. Aman adopted a focused and high-stakes strategy by limiting the number of attempts he would take, which helped him stay committed and disciplined from the outset.

For his preparation, he relied on Vision IAS online coaching for general studies and test series. He particularly appreciated their online infrastructure and the quality of mock evaluations, which played a key role in refining his performance.

Aman attributes his success to the guidance of his mentors and the unwavering support of his parents and younger brother. His journey highlights that with clear focus, disciplined effort, and effective use of available resources, cracking the civil services examination in the very first attempt is achievable, even for professionals shifting from corporate careers.
