Trump warns Iran of ‘last chance at peace’; Tehran dismisses talks as ‘fake news’

Daijiworld Media Network

Washington, Mar 24: Donald Trump has warned that Iran has “one more chance at peace” amid escalating tensions in West Asia, even as Tehran rejected claims of any negotiations with the United States as “fake news.”

The warning comes against the backdrop of intensifying conflict involving Iran, the US, and Israel, raising fears of a broader regional war.

Trump claimed that discussions were underway and signalled a narrow window for diplomatic resolution, while also reiterating the possibility of strong military action if no agreement is reached.

However, Iranian officials denied that any talks were taking place, dismissing the claims as baseless and accusing Washington of spreading misinformation.

Reports indicate that while indirect contacts through mediators may be ongoing, there is no confirmation of direct engagement between the two sides.

The standoff has further heightened tensions in the region, with global concerns mounting over energy supplies, security, and the risk of a prolonged conflict.
