Daijiworld Media Network - Mapusa

Mapusa, Mar 28: In a significant development, the Additional Sessions Court in Mapusa has rejected the anticipatory bail applications of Gaurav Luthra and Saurabh Luthra in connection with a No Objection Certificate (NOC) forgery case registered by Mapusa police.

The two brothers, reportedly linked to the owners of the Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub, are accused of forging a health officer’s NOC to obtain an excise licence.

The forgery case is being investigated alongside the probe into the Arpora nightclub fire tragedy, in which the Luthras had earlier been taken into custody, with their remand extended during the course of the investigation.
