Ranchi, Mar 31: The 16th Hockey India Sub Junior Women National Championship 2026 will commence tomorrow in Ranchi, Jharkhand, and will continue until April 12, bringing together teams from across the country in a structured division-based format aimed at strengthening competition and player development.
The tournament will be played at the Marang Gomke Jaipal Singh Astroturf Hockey Stadium. Division ‘A’ will feature 12 teams divided into four pools, with knockout matches beginning on April 9 and the final scheduled for April 12.

Divisions ‘B’ and ‘C’ will be conducted in league formats from April 1 to April 6 and April 1 to April 4 respectively.
As per the format, teams will earn three points for a win, one point for a draw, and none for a loss. In Division ‘A’, tied knockout matches will be decided through shoot-outs in accordance with FIH rules.
