Margao, Apr 3: At least nine youths from Benaulim have approached the police after allegedly being duped of Rs 2–3 lakh each by a fake job agency promising overseas employment.
According to the complaint, the victims had contacted a Navelim-based agency that assured them of lucrative jobs abroad. However, after collecting substantial sums, the agency allegedly stopped responding to calls and queries, raising suspicions of fraud.
