2nd PUC 2026 results out online; Alva’s, Expert College students top in Karnataka

Bengaluru, Apr 9: The results of the second PUC Examination-1 for the current academic year (Karnataka 2nd PUC Result 2026) have been released online. The official announcement will be made by education minister Madhu Bangarappa at 6 pm, at the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board office in Malleswaram, Bengaluru, during a press conference.

This year, the results have recorded a significant improvement, with 86 per cent of students passing the examination. Out of a total of 7,10,363 students who appeared, around 6.10 lac students have successfully cleared the exam. In comparison, last year’s pass percentage stood at 73.45, indicating a notable rise in performance this year.

In the commerce stream, Disha, a student of Alva’s College at Moodbidri in Dakshina Kannada district, has secured a perfect score of 600 out of 600, emerging as the state topper.

Expert College toppers included Nandan Nayak and Samanyu S Shetty, who secured 99.67% each, followed by Deeksha Shenoy, Aditi I Reddy, Amogh B Loka, and Sushan Narayana Billava, who each scored 99.33%.

Chaithrika Chaudhary of Jnanasudha PU College, Karkala, secured 597 marks in the science stream, while Vaishnavi Kulkarni and Anarvi from the same institution also scored 597, emerging among the top achievers.

Prerana Ramachandra Hegde of Creative College, Karkala, excelled in the commerce stream by securing 598 marks, achieving an impressive 99.67%.
