Karkala, Apr 9: The results of the II PUC annual examinations were announced on Thursday, and Christ King Pre-University College, Karkala, has once again achieved a remarkable milestone by securing a 100% pass result. Notably, 12 students from the college have secured ranks within the top 10 at the state level.
Commerce stream
In the Commerce stream, Prajwal Shetty and Shreema Devadiga scored 596 marks each, securing the 4th rank in the state. Other top performers in the stream include Madiha Fathima (594), Jitesh Pinto (593), Mahipal Singh (589), and Manoj Pai (589), all of whom secured positions within the state’s top 10 ranks.

Science stream
In the Science stream, Smruti Marathe scored 592 marks, while Siya Venisha D’Souza (591), Vijeth R Shettigar (591), Mohammed Mashid (590), Roshan Thoras (590), and Apeksha Jain (589) also featured among the top 10 rank holders in the state.
Overall performance
The college showcased consistent excellence across both streams:

Commerce: Out of 123 students, 94 secured distinctions and 29 passed with first class.

Science: Out of 156 students, 112 secured distinctions and 44 passed with first class.
A total of 149 students scored above 90%. Remarkably, every student who appeared for the examination passed with a first class or higher, reflecting the high-quality academic standards maintained by the institution.
The achievement has been widely appreciated as a testament to the dedication of the students, faculty, and the management.
