Bengaluru, Apr 11: The KE Women’s Meet, held at Century Club, Bengaluru, on March 28, 2026, brought together members for an evening that blended connection, reflection and celebration. What began as informal interactions on WhatsApp seamlessly translated into in-person engagement, with many attendees arriving early, already connected through shared conversations and coordinated carpools.
By early evening, the venue was abuzz with energy. Participants, elegantly dressed and in high spirits, engaged in lively conversations as they settled in. The registration process, managed efficiently by Ann Attavar and Dr Nina Pais, ensured a smooth start, with guests receiving name badges and group allocations.


































The event was anchored by MC Andrea D’souza, whose warm and engaging presence set the tone for the evening. Proceedings opened with a prayer led by Brenda Fernandes, offering a moment of reflection before the activities commenced.
A thoughtfully designed gratitude exercise, conducted by Jyoti Menezes, encouraged participants to pause and reflect, creating a noticeable shift in the room’s energy. This was followed by an interactive icebreaker session, also led by Jyoti Menezes, which fostered ease, laughter and meaningful connections among attendees.
The evening’s highlight was a series of group activities, with eight teams competing in eight games conducted by Sabitha Lasrado, Jyoti Menezes and Laveena D’souza. The sessions were marked by enthusiasm, teamwork and spirited participation. While the competitive energy remained high, it was underpinned by encouragement and camaraderie.
Adding depth to the programme were two insightful talks. Dr Uma addressed the impact of physical and hormonal changes on oral health, shedding light on an often-overlooked subject. Aruba Kabir spoke about ambition, personal growth and the importance of self-care, offering perspectives that resonated strongly with the audience.
Throughout the evening, special moments were thoughtfully captured by Vikram, whose photographs preserved the energy, warmth and spirit of the gathering.
The competitive segment concluded with Team Brown securing first place, followed by Team Red and Team Yellow. The winners were celebrated enthusiastically, though the emphasis remained on collective participation and shared experience.
Looking ahead, Laveena D’souza presented the upcoming initiatives of the KE Women’s Group, thoughtfully planned in collaboration with the core group comprising Anita Gomes and Sabitha Lasrado. The initiatives outlined a clear focus on continued engagement and fostering a stronger sense of community.
The formal segment concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the contributions of the Board of Directors, sponsors and the Women’s Executive Committee, comprising Ann Attavar, Dr Nina Pais, Roushnee Sur, Dr Maria Pramila, Brenda Fernandes, Alisha Fernandes, Jyoti Menezes, Savitha Furtado, Rishika Miranda and Ayeshia Fernandes.
The evening then transitioned into a more relaxed and celebratory phase. With music by DJ Joyson setting the mood, participants took to the dance floor, bringing a spontaneous and joyful close to the event. Dinner and informal conversations extended late into the evening, reflecting the strong sense of connection fostered throughout.
