Sullia: Wild elephant falls into well at Kalcharpe; rescue yet to begin

Sullia, Apr 13: A wild elephant reportedly fell into a well near Kalcharpe in Peraje on Sunday night.

Locals noticed the elephant in the well on Monday morning. The well is quite deep and is an abandoned one without water.

A crane will be required to lift the elephant out.

 

Sources said that a rescue operation to bring the elephant out of the well is expected to be carried out on Monday.
