Indian Athletics Series 4 concludes in Ranchi with over 200 athletes

Ranchi, Apr 13: The Indian Athletics Series 4 concluded at Birsa Munda Stadium with participation from over 200 athletes from across the country.

The event was organised by the Athletics Federation of India in association with the Jharkhand Athletics Association, and featured competitions in senior men’s, women’s and under-20 categories across 38 events.

The meet included a wide range of track and field disciplines such as sprints, middle- and long-distance races, hurdles, as well as jumping and throwing events.

Athletes representing institutions like the Railways and the Army ensured a competitive atmosphere, with several events witnessing closely fought finishes.

Officials said the series served as an important platform for assessing performances ahead of upcoming national and international competitions, helping identify talent and fine-tune preparations.
