New Delhi, Apr 18: The Professional Golf Tour of India, in partnership with DP World, has announced the appointment of Rachana Bahadur as an Advisor, marking a strategic addition to its leadership as it looks to expand the reach of professional golf in India.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President and Country Head – India at Synchrony Financial, Bahadur brings more than 30 years of experience across banking, operations, and risk management. She has held senior leadership roles at global financial giants such as Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Morgan Stanley, with nearly two decades of international exposure spanning the United States, Asia, and Europe.

Her leadership approach, which emphasizes trust, employee well-being, and collaborative culture, is seen as closely aligned with PGTI’s long-term vision of strengthening India’s professional golf ecosystem.

Speaking on her appointment, Bahadur expressed enthusiasm about contributing to the organization’s mission, noting the tour’s role in nurturing talent and creating opportunities for Indian golfers on both domestic and global platforms.

Welcoming her to the advisory board, Kapil Dev, President of PGTI, said her global expertise in building high-performing organizations would provide valuable strategic direction as the tour enters its next phase of growth.
