Sail, who was crowned by outgoing titleholder Nikita Porwal of Madhya Pradesh, is an academically accomplished winner with a double major in economics and international relations from a Canadian university. Fluent in seven languages, she is set to represent India at the Miss World 2027 pageant.

Maharashtra’s Rajnandini Pawar secured the position of first runner-up, while Dr. Sree Advaita, a 24-year-old MBBS graduate from Chennai with Tamil-Telugu roots and raised in Jammu, was declared second runner-up. A trained Bharatanatyam dancer, Advaita has performed in over 600 stage shows.

The event, hosted by Maniesh Paul and Sarah-Jane Dias, featured performances by actor Ishaan Khatter and saw participation from 30 contestants representing states across the country. The finale also marked a first, being hosted at a university venue in eastern India.

Expressing her emotions after the win, Sail described the moment as “very surreal,” reflecting a blend of grace and purpose. Her victory has sparked pride in Goa, as she now prepares to represent the country on the global stage.
