Gurugram, Apr 25: A 29-year-old man was found dead in his rented accommodation in Gurugram, with police suspecting a possible overdose of a sex-enhancing drug as the cause of death.
The deceased, a native of Nagpur, was employed at the Quality Council of India office in Delhi and lived in a flat in Sector 53.
The incident came to light on Thursday morning after a co-worker alerted police when the man failed to respond to calls or open his door. The colleague said the two usually travelled to work together.

Police arrived at the spot, broke open the door and found the man lying dead on his bed. Wrappers of medicines and health supplements were recovered from the room.
Following a postmortem, the body was handed over to the family.
According to preliminary investigations, the man had invited his fiancée to meet him, but died before she arrived. Police suspect that he may have consumed a sex-enhancing drug, and a possible overdose could have triggered a heart attack.
Station House Officer Satender Rawal said the viscera and recovered substances have been sent for forensic analysis to determine the exact cause of death. He added that all angles are being probed.
In a separate development, authorities earlier this week uncovered a racket involving the manufacture and sale of counterfeit Mounjaro injections in Gurugram.
Drug Control Officer Amandeep Chauhan said two persons, including the main accused, were arrested after a raid in Sector 62. The accused allegedly imported raw materials from China and produced fake injections from a residential flat, supplying them via the B2B platform Indiamart.
A nationwide alert has been issued to trace the distribution network, and further investigation is underway.
