Mumbai, Apr 25: Producer Ekta Kapoor has praised her brother and actor Tusshar Kapoor, calling him “the most successful man in the world” and saying his calm nature and kindness make her deeply proud.

In an interview with MK Talks, Ekta said Tusshar has often faced criticism and trolling, but has always responded to people with love and dignity.

“When I look at my brother, I feel he is the most successful man in this world. He is so calm and there is so much goodness in him,” she said.

She added that despite what people may say about him, Tusshar has always dealt with others with affection and humility.

Speaking on relationships, Ekta also described love as a “waste of time”, saying people often misuse time and emotional investment.

She said she had been in love in the past but felt modern relationships lacked sincerity.

Advising people, she said one should instead love one’s child, work, and nurture a good marriage if fortunate enough to have one.

In an earlier interaction with Usha Kakade Productions, Ekta had spoken about how she and Tusshar fulfilled their father Jeetendra’s wish of having grandchildren, even though neither followed a conventional path to marriage.

She had said both became parents through surrogacy after discussing their father’s desire for grandchildren.

Ekta Kapoor was recently in the news for co-producing Bhoot Bangla, starring Akshay Kumar and directed by Priyadarshan.
