Rome, May 5: Roma produced a dominant display to outclass Fiorentina 4-0 on Monday, moving to within one point of the final Champions League qualification spot in Serie A.
Goals from Gianluca Mancini, Wesley and Mario Hermoso inside the opening 34 minutes effectively sealed the contest, before Niccolo Pisilli added a fourth in the second half to cap a clinical performance in the Italian capital.

The result keeps fifth-placed Roma firmly in contention, piling pressure on fourth-placed Juventus, who sit on 65 points. Roma will next face Parma, currently 12th, while Juventus travel to Lecce. Como, placed sixth, are also in the mix and will take on already relegated Hellas Verona.
With just three rounds remaining, Napoli (70 points) and AC Milan (67) are also battling for the four Champions League berths.
Roma took control early, with captain Mancini opening the scoring in the 13th minute following a header from Pisilli. Brazilian winger Wesley doubled the lead just four minutes later with a sharp first-time finish.
The match was effectively put beyond Fiorentina’s reach in the 34th minute when Manu Kone set up Spanish defender Hermoso to make it 3-0.
Pisilli then added his name to the scoresheet just before the hour mark, heading home his first goal since February to complete the rout.
Roma were without suspended Morocco midfielder Neil El Aynaoui, with Kone stepping in and delivering an impressive performance.
Meanwhile, Lazio edged Cremonese 2-1, with Dutch forward Tijjani Noslin netting a dramatic winner in stoppage time. Despite the victory, Cremonese remain four points adrift of safety.
The Serie A title race has already been decided, with Inter Milan clinching their third league crown in six seasons following a 2-0 win over Parma on Sunday.
