Bengaluru, Jun 4: Bengaluru is often associated with towering IT parks, tech professionals working long hours in front of laptops, and lucrative salaries. However, a woman who gave up her prestigious corporate job and attractive salary package in the IT sector to become an auto-rickshaw driver has now become the subject of widespread discussion on social media.

According to reports, the woman had been facing considerable mental stress while working in the corporate sector and was struggling to find time for her personal life. Eventually, she decided to step away from the mechanical routine of corporate life and took up auto-rickshaw driving, allowing her to work on her own schedule.

The decision has reportedly enabled her to earn around Rs 60,000 per month while enjoying a more balanced and peaceful lifestyle.

Speaking about her journey, the woman said that she was exhausted by the constant struggle between work-related stress and personal life. She added that she decided to quit her job and start driving an auto-rickshaw in search of a more peaceful life.

“I now earn around Rs 60,000 a month and am happier than before. I am enjoying a more peaceful and satisfying lifestyle,” she said.

The video featuring her story has gone viral on social media, with many users praising her courage to leave behind a conventional career and choose a profession that offers greater satisfaction and peace of mind.

One user commented that even after spending 18 years in the IT industry, endless meetings that could have been emails, hours-long urgent calls, and work pressure continue to be a source of stress.

Another user speculated that the woman might already have savings ranging from Rs 50 lac to Rs 2 crore in her bank account, while several others appreciated her desire for a simple and happy life.
