Dubai, Jun 9: Mangaluru-based artiste Mamtha Ravi Kotian presented 'Lotus Aurora – Nature Gift Experience Showcase' on June 7 at Amity School, Al Qusais. The event was held in the presence of a large gathering of nature lovers, artists, and distinguished guests from the community.
Hailing from Kadri in Mangaluru, Mamtha is an alumna of St Agnes College and holds a diploma in fine arts and home science. Inspired by her family’s creative background, she developed a deep passion for art and craft at a young age. Known for her creativity and dedication, she has also earned appreciation as an art and craft mentor, guiding numerous students through her artistic journey.
The showcase featured an impressive collection of handcrafted creations, including flower and plant-based nature gift concepts, paintings, and decorative artworks inspired by nature and everyday life. Her artistic expressions, presented through vibrant colours and textured hues, reflected elegance, creativity, and refined aesthetic appeal.
The exhibition drew widespread admiration from visitors and art enthusiasts, many of whom appreciated the uniqueness and craftsmanship behind each piece. Several of the displayed works were lauded as elegant additions to sophisticated home décor and artistic collections.
The event was graced by several prominent personalities, including professional artist and art therapist Veena Vasudev Devagiri, managing director of Maxtalent Global Sports Sudhakar Shetty, and horticulturist and founder of Sunscape Landscape & Gardening and Souq Garden Harish Gowda. Ganesh Rai and Girish Narayan attended the event as guests of honour.
