Mangaluru police issue advisory ahead of Shah Rukh Khan’s city visit

Mangaluru, Jun 25: The City police have issued a public advisory in connection with the visit of Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to the city on Thursday, urging citizens to cooperate with security and traffic management measures.

According to the advisory, the event featuring Shah Rukh Khan is a private, invite-only programme, and entry to the venue will be strictly restricted to individuals possessing valid passes. Police have clarified that persons without authorized passes will not be allowed entry under any circumstances.

The police have requested the public to respect the entry regulations to avoid inconvenience, disappointment, or embarrassment at the venue gates.

In view of the high-profile visit, traffic management measures have also been put in place. Mangaluru City police said that maintaining smooth traffic flow on the highway will be a priority to ensure minimal disruption for commuters.

Members of the public have been advised not to gather near the venue or along the highway. Security personnel will closely monitor the area and strictly regulate access and movement to prevent congestion and ensure public safety.

The advisory also urges citizens not to block roads, create traffic obstructions, or assemble around the event venue.
