Dubai, Jul 1: Australian luxury motor yacht manufacturer Maritimo has appointed KJM Marine as its exclusive dealer across the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and selected territories in the Middle East and Indian Ocean, strengthening its presence in one of the world's fastest-growing boating markets.
Under the agreement, KJM Marine will represent Maritimo in Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, as well as Egypt, Lebanon, the Maldives, Mauritius and the Seychelles.

Founded by Bill Barry-Cotter, Maritimo is internationally recognised for designing and building long-range luxury motor yachts engineered for offshore performance, efficiency and cruising comfort.
The company said the appointment comes amid growing demand for long-range cruising yachts in the region, where experienced owners increasingly seek vessels offering offshore capability, reliability and practical onboard comfort.
KJM Marine brings more than 15 years of experience in the large motor yacht segment across the Middle East. The company offers integrated sales and after-sales services, supported by an in-house technical team and dedicated service facilities for commissioning, warranty support and maintenance.
Maritimo Global Business Development Manager Derrick Nowak said KJM Marine combines strong regional knowledge with extensive industry experience.
"KJM Marine has developed strong capability and become an influential player in the regional yachting market. We believe they offer the right combination of local knowledge and industry experience to represent the Maritimo brand," he said.
KJM Marine will market Maritimo's complete range of luxury yachts, including the M-Series Flybridge Motor Yachts, S-Series Sedan Motor Yachts and Offshore Series models.
Designed and built in Australia, the yachts feature enclosed air-conditioned flybridges, spacious indoor and outdoor entertainment areas, panoramic opening windows, large adventure decks and proven ocean-going hulls suited to long-distance cruising.
KJM Marine Chief Executive Officer Mohammad Aljasmi said the partnership presents significant opportunities in the region.
"Maritimo is a respected brand among experienced yacht owners in our region. We see strong potential not only among our existing clients but also among new residents and international visitors enjoying destinations such as the Maldives and Seychelles," he said.
The partnership is expected to provide Maritimo owners across the GCC and neighbouring markets with dedicated local sales, technical expertise and comprehensive after-sales support.
