Priyanka Named India's Glam Diva


New Delhi, Mar 21 (IANS): Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra has pipped stars like Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone for India's Glam Diva title.

The title was given as part of Big CBS Love's show "India's Glam Diva".

Priyanka was crowned by her fan Siddhi Singh, a Mumbai-based girl. The actress was named the winner on the basis of public voting.

On the finale episode, Priyanka will be seen sharing her ambitions and desires as an actress and a woman.

The actress has been successful with her movie choices and hasn't given the critics much to complain about. Right from her character in "Andaaz", for which she won the Filmfare Award for best female debut in 2002 to "Fashion" for which she recieved the National award for best actress, she has enthralled the audience in her a decade long career.

Jury member and choreographer Shiamak Davar said: "She wants to be number one; she wants to conquer the world; she wants to make it not only in India but globally - which is great."

Priyanka is now also utilising her melodius voice to launch a music album in the US.

The finale episode of "India's Glam Diva" will go on air Sunday.
