Mangaluru, Jul 17: The students of Expert PU College, Mangaluru achieved a historic feat with 60 of its students scoring 600 and more marks in the NEET retest 2026 held for admission to medical colleges at the All India level. Dheeraj N of the college secured the 336th All India Rank (AIR) with 677 out of 720 marks, while Ankit Kishor Dodwad secured AIR 355 by scoring 676 marks.
While two students of the college scored more than 675 marks, 10 students scored more than 650, 34 students scored more than 625, and 60 students scored more than 600. Similarly, 141 students scored more than 575, 169 students scored more than 550, 258 students scored more than 525, and 356 students scored more than 500.
Congratulating the achievers, the chairman of the institution, prof Narendra L Nayak added that 477 students scored more than 475, 614 students scored more than 450, 726 students scored more than 425, and 853 students scored more than 400 marks.

While only 56% of students attained eligibility at the national level, 97.36% of students from Expert PU College qualified for medical admission. "This reflects the quality of education imparted at the college," said prof Narendra L Nayak.
