Mumbai, Jul 19: A high-end Porsche crashed into a road divider on Mumbai's Coastal Road after the driver allegedly lost control of the vehicle while travelling at high speed, police said.

The accident occurred on Sunday and left the luxury car extensively damaged. Despite the force of the impact, the driver escaped with only minor injuries, as the vehicle's airbags deployed immediately during the collision.

According to police, preliminary findings suggest the car was being driven at a high speed when the driver lost control, causing it to slam into the divider.

Officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances surrounding the crash, including whether overspeeding or any other factors were responsible for the accident.

No other vehicles were involved, and no additional injuries were reported.

Videos from the accident site showed the heavily damaged Porsche wedged against the divider, while police personnel inspected the scene and initiated further inquiries into the incident.
