Mumbai, Jul 20: Veteran actress and Rajya Sabha MP Jaya Bachchan once spoke warmly about her daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, praising her grace, humility and the way she seamlessly became a part of the Bachchan family.
During an earlier appearance on filmmaker Karan Johar's celebrity chat show Koffee With Karan, Jaya Bachchan was asked about the qualities she admired most in Aishwarya.
Responding to the question, Jaya described Aishwarya as "lovely" and expressed her affection for her, highlighting her grounded nature despite her immense success in the film industry.

She said that although Aishwarya is an internationally acclaimed star, she never seeks attention during family gatherings and instead prefers to remain reserved and respectful.
Jaya also noted that Aishwarya is someone who listens more than she speaks, adding that she has always appreciated this quality.
According to the veteran actress, one of Aishwarya's greatest strengths is the way she blended naturally into the Bachchan household while also building close relationships with the family's friends.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan have shared the screen in several films over the years, including Kuch Naa Kaho, Dhoom 2, Guru, Umrao Jaan, Sarkar Raj and Raavan.
The couple reportedly first met in 1999 during a photoshoot connected to their film Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke. Their friendship gradually evolved into a relationship, culminating in their marriage on April 20, 2007, in a traditional ceremony attended by family members and close friends.
The couple welcomed their daughter, Aaradhya, on November 16, 2011, marking a new chapter in their family life.
On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan is set to appear in Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming action entertainer 'King', directed by Pathaan filmmaker Siddharth Anand. The film also features Anil Kapoor, Suhana Khan and Abhay Verma in prominent roles.
