Mangaluru, Jul 23: In a bid to prevent road accidents caused by traffic rule violations across the Dakshina Kannada district police jurisdiction, the police department has installed surveillance cameras at prominent locations in the first phase.
The cameras have been installed in key areas under the limits of the Vittal, Uppinangady, Sullia, and Bantwal rural police stations. These cameras have officially commenced operations on Thursday, July 23.
