Aishwarya Given 'Woman of Worth' Award

Mumbai, Mar 24: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the L'Oreal-Paris Femina Awards '12 on Thursday March 22 with her mother Vrinda Rai.

Ash was confered the 'Woman of worth' Award at the event. the actress has always been closely associated with Femina awards for a while now.

The blue eyed beauty made her way into the red carpet wearing a gorgeous Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla ensemble. Ash chose to make her statement in a very simple ethnic salwar suit.

Ash, who is busy playing mother to her three-and-half-month-old daughter, says her mom Vrinda is responsible for whatever she is today.

"She is the nucleus of my existence; who has gently moulded me, shaped me, picked me up when I've been down, has faith in me and taught me to be the very best version of me that I can be," Aishwarya said in a statement.

    She donated her eyes. She has a charity foundation called the Aishwarya Rai charity foundation. She is the brand ambassador for the Smile Train charity association. She as a brand ambassador of loreal has supported teaching girl students the art of being a beautician. Now tell me what else should she do? Just because she earns crores, should she throw it up in the air, so that people can collect?

    What is meaning of this award, There are many womans dedicated them to their family, Children and society. What Ashwairya did different than others. I dont understand from where this concept comes and awarded.
