Mumbai: 23-year-old Girl Stabbed to Death

Mumbai, Mar 24 (PTI): A 23-year-old girl was stabbed to death by an unidentified man in suburban Mumbai, police said.

The victim Seema Parab residing at Malad worked with a beauty parlour at Borivili. She was stabbed with a knife soon after she had left for work at around 9 am on Friday, they said.

She was stabbed twice in her stomach, once in her shoulder and once in neck by an unidentified person who later ran away and the locals did not make any effort to catch him.

One of the passersby, Javed, took Seema to the government-run Bagwati hospital. However, the doctor declared her dead at around 11:30 am.

The girl is survived by her parents and three sisters. Seema's father Ankush (58) works as a watchman.

The police said they questioned employees of the parlour and were told that the girl was of reserved nature.

Police suspect it to be a case of one-sided love affair.

They were questioning the people present at the spot of crime to get more clues.

Police find out the killer as soon as possible as it will be shame on you. Seema Parab may your soul rest in eternal peace and give comfort to your parents, sisters and all your family members and friends. That killer guy should be paraded throughout Malad. He should be jailed for his life time and never ever released as he might do a severe crime than what he did. These kinds of guys do not deserve to live in this society.
