Mangaluru, Aug 6: An auto-rickshaw driver has been reported missing since August 1, with a case registered at the Barke Police Station.
The missing person has been identified as Ahmed Kabir (47), a resident of Mangaluru. According to the complaint lodged by his brother-in-law, K A Muhammed, Kabir had visited his relative Yasmin's house near Maulana School in Kudroli on August 1.
Kabir reportedly left the house at around 7.45 pm while talking on his mobile phone but did not return. His mobile phone was found switched off from around 8.20 pm onwards. However, his auto-rickshaw, along with its keys, was found parked beside Yasmin's house.
Kabir is about 170 cm tall, wheatish in complexion and of medium build. He can speak Kannada, Hindi, Malayalam, Urdu and Tulu.
