Mumbai, Aug 12: Playback singer Sunidhi Chauhan recently expressed her gratitude after appearing on the quiz-based reality show ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ Season 18 for a special episode alongside acclaimed lyricist and poet Prasoon Joshi.

After shooting for the episode, Sunidhi stepped out to pose for the paparazzi and spoke about her experience of sitting across from the show's host, megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

Describing the opportunity as a dream come true, the singer said she felt overwhelmed and honoured to share the prestigious platform with Bachchan. Prasoon Joshi also joined her on the special episode.

“Bahut accha lag raha hai, mujhe lagta hai bahut saare logo ka dream hota hain ek baar hot seat par baithna, aur mere liye to bass. (Amitabh Bachchan) Sir ke saamne hona hi bahut badi baat hai, toh mai bahut bhagyashali samjahti hu ki ek baar yeh mauka hume sath milpaya woh bhi KBC par,” she said.

Sunidhi added that merely being in front of Bachchan was a significant moment for her and said she considered herself extremely fortunate to have received the opportunity to appear on KBC.

Earlier on the show, Bachchan recalled an incident involving actor Sunny Deol during the briefing of an action sequence.

Bachchan told Deol that he had heard about an incident on a film set in which the actor was standing with his hand in his pocket while the action director was explaining a scene.

According to Bachchan, Deol disagreed with what he was being told and did not want to perform the action as instructed.

“And he doesn't agree with what he is being told. He doesn't want to do anything. He didn't agree at all. After a while, there was a sound of a cloth being torn. He was so angry. He pressed it so hard. He couldn't take it out. He was feeling shy. But he doesn't have any shame in his hands,” Bachchan recalled.
