Mangaluru, Aug 18: Aishwarya Raj, a resident of Kavoor, has successfully completed her pilot training and secured a commercial pilot license (CPL).

She completed her primary education at Canara Educational Institution in Urwa and her pre-university education at St Aloysius College.

Inspired by her brother, Ashif Raj, who is already serving as a senior first officer (SFO) at IndiGo airlines, she decided to pursue a career in aviation.

Aishwarya underwent professional pilot training at the Chimes Aviation Academy in Madhya Pradesh. Following this, she completed rigorous A320 type rating training at the Akron Aviation Academy in Bangkok, Thailand, to obtain her commercial pilot license.

She is the daughter of Rajaram and Sulatha, residents of Manjalakatte in Kavoor.

Good to see more youngsters from our Kudla region considering careers in the aviation sector, rather than limiting themselves to the conventional engineering and medical career paths. It's encouraging to see our younger generation exploring challenging yet exciting opportunities.
